In December 2016 the iconic Hilton Hotel Schiphol with 433 rooms opened. The hotel offers meeting and conference facilities that can accommodate up to 640 guests. A total of 23 flexible meeting rooms and 6 boardrooms are available. A grand ballroom is available to host large-scale events.
Energy-saving climate
The cube-based building, designed by Mecanoo architects, combines an international character with modern interior design. Its 42m high atrium has a glass roof and an indoor garden. The atrium plays an important role in the building’s energy-saving climate. All the white elements, especially the light horizontal balustrades bounce daylight deep into the building. Timber used as slats, frames and cladding lends the interior a natural yet luxurious feel.
