The Dutch office of Mercedes-Benz is located in Nieuwegein, in a modern multi-tenant building in a logistic zone on the outskirts of the city of Utrecht. The property is around 12,000m2 of office space over 5 storeys and includes parking for 273 cars.
Comfort
A central atrium courtyard is at the heart of the building which offers open office space, an auditorium, a restaurant and meeting facilities all with a unique focus on human comfort. Large, green walls rising in the atrium as well as the glass roof construction with PV cells are some of the sustainable building aspects implemented in order to reduce CO2 emissions.
From the initiation phase in 2017 until final completion in 2019, bbn adviseurs was involved in transforming this building in order to meet the requirements of Mercedes-Benz. bbn provided project and cost management, as well as contract management services during the design and construction phase.
