With the purchase of the Carnisse Veste district shopping centre in Barendrecht, PingProperties has further expanded its convenience retail portfolio. PingProperties commissioned bbn consultants to conduct a Technical Due Diligence (TDD) review of the complex prior to the purchase.
Built in 2003, the complex has approximately 15,300 m² of retail space, comprising 50 units divided across two floors. The 495 free parking spaces are located on the ground floor of the building. Lessees mainly focus on food and daily non-food items.
The TDD report describes the technical condition of the complex and the repair costs for overdue maintenance. The availability of required certificates and maintenance documents was also checked. This TDD report offered PingProperties immediate insight into any possible technical risks associated with the purchase.
